Indications & Dose: ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS SC Adult 40mg once every other wk | CROHN’S DISEASE SC Adult 160mg once on day 1 (given as four 40mg inj in one day or two 40mg inj for 2 consecutive days), followed by 80mg once 2 wk later (on day 15), MD 40mg once every other wk from day 29 | JUVENILE ARTHRITIS SC Child 15 kg to <30 kg: 20mg once every other wk, =>30 kg: 40mg once every other wk | PLAQUE PSORIASIS SC Adult Initially 80mg, followed by 40mg once every other wk starting 1wk after initial dose | RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS SC Adult 40mg once every other wk |
| Contra: hypersensitivity, severe infection
Precautions: demyelinating disorders, immunosuppression, lymphoma, elder, children ADR: Serious: HTN, hyperlipidemia, arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, CHF, coronary artery disorder, heart arrest, MI, tachycardia, thrombosis, vascular disorder, cataract, hepatic necrosis, pyelonephritis, anaphylactoid reaction, hematuria, cellulitis, Others: headache, rash, CPK, URTI, phlebitis, confusion, esophagitis, gastroenteritis, gi hemorrhage, vomiting, hematological disorder, arthralgia, arthritis, bone fracture |
