ANTI-CHOLINERGIC | GENITOURINARY ANTI-SPASMODIC

Indications & Dose: MANAGEMENT OF OVERACTIVE BLADDER PO Adult Initially 7.5mg/day, may increase to 15mg/day as early as 2 wk after therapy begins

Contra: Hypersensitivity, uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, paralytic ileus, GI/GU obstruction, gastric retention

Precautions: Decreased GI motility, constipation, hiatal hernia, reflux esophagitis, ulcerative colitis, controlled narrow-angle glaucoma, hepatic impairment, myasthenia gravis, prostatic hyperplasia (nonobstructive)/clinically-significant bladder outlet obstruction, concurrent treatment with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, children

ADR: Serious: HTN, peripheral edema, UTI, urinary retention, abnormal vision, flu-like syndrome, hypersensitivity reactions, Others: palpitation, angioedema, confusion, hallucinations, bronchitis/pharyngitis/rhinitis/sinusitis, Xerostomia, constipation, weakness, arthralgia, back pain, dry eyes, headache, dizziness, dry skin, pruritus, rash, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, weight gain

DDI: Serious Digoxin exposure increases by drug, Ketoconazole markedly increases drug exposure, Rifampicin markedly reduces the exposure to drug, Fluconazole/Erythromycin modestly increases drug exposure
