Indications & Dose: GASTROINTESTINAL MOTILITY DISORDER PO Adult 10mg TID/QID | MIGRAINE Combination therapy PO Adult 20mg q4h, with paracetamol, as required, up to a max of 4 doses in 24h | NAUSEA/VOMITING PO Adult 10-20mg TID/QID, max 80mg Child 250-500µg/kg TID/QID, max 2.4mg/kg total daily dose or 80mg, whichever is less | RECTAL Adult 60mg BID Child >15 kg: 30mg BID | NON-ULCER DYSPEPSIA Symptomatic therapy PO Adult 10mg QID (the last dose at night) increased to 20mg if required, 2-4 wk

Contra: Hypersensitivity, GI hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction/perforation, patients with prolactin releasing pituitary tumor, concomitant use with ketoconazole

Precautions: Severe renal impairment, hepatic impairment, history of breast cancer, patients on MAO inhibitors

ADR: Serious: Convulsions, cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, gynaecomastia/galactorrhoea, Others: Reduced libido, rashes, allergic reactions, extrapyramidal reactions, dystonic reactions, drowsiness, headache, xerostomia

DDI: Serious Bromocriptine hypotensive effect is reduced, Ketoconazole/Erythromycin increases drug levels, Paracetamol rate of absorption increases by drug

Monitor: Renal function
