Indications & Dose: BACTERIAL CONJUNCTIVITIS TP Adult Days 1 & 2: Instill 1 drop into affected eyes q2h while awake, max 8 times/day, Days 3-7: Instill 1 drop into affected eyes up to 4 times/day while awake Child > 1 yr: Same as adult dose | GONORRHEA PO/IV Adult 400mg single dose | URINARY TRACT INFECT Uncomplicated PO/IV Adult 400mg single dose or 200mg/day 3 days

Contra: Hypersensitivity, children <18 yrs, DM

Precautions: patients with epilepsy/history of CNS disorders, renal impairment, myasthenia gravis, G6PD deficiency, pre-existing cardiac disease, QT prolongation agents

ADR: Serious: conjunctival hemorrhage, hyperosmolar nonketotic hyperglycemic coma, DKA, hypoglycemic coma, convulsions, mental confusion, Hypoglycemia, Others: Symptomatic hyperglycemia, lacrimation increased, irritation, keratitis, pain, taste disturbances, dry eye, headache, dizziness, insomnia, tendon rupture

DDI: Serious Vardenafil additive increases in QTc interval, Digoxin increase levels by drug, Coumarins increase risk of over-anticoagulation, Amiodarone increases risk of arrhythmia, Procainamide/Amphotericin-B increases risk of Torsade de pointes, Antidiabetics leads to severe hypoglycemia
