Indications & Dose: MALARIA Prophylactic therapy PO Adult 3 tablets (1 tablet consists of sulfadoxine 500mg & pyrimethamine 25mg) Child 2-11 months: 1/4 tablet, 1-3 yr: 1/2 tablet, 4-8 yr: 1 tablet, 9-14 yr: 2 tablets, >14 yr: 3 tablets (1 tablet consists of sulfadoxine 500mg & pyrimethamine 25mg) | TREATMENT OF ACUTE ATTACK OF MALARIA Acute PO Child 2-11 months: 1/4 tablet, 1-3 yr: 1/2 tablet, 4-8 yr: 1 tablet, 9-14 yr: 2 tablets, >14 yr: 3 tablets (1 tablet consists of sulfadoxine 500mg & pyrimethamine 25mg) |
