Indications & Dose: ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA Consolidation therapy IV Child 165mg/m2 on 1, 4, 8, &11 days; Dilute (0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 1mg/mL)& slow inf>30-60min

Contra: Hypersensitivity

Precautions: Hepatic & renal impairment, Avoid live vaccination, Hypotension

ADR: Serious: Myelosuppression, Infection, Bleeding, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Mucositis, Hypotension, Tachycardia, Secondary AML, Others: Rash, Alopecia, Anemia, Neurotoxicity, Metabolic abnormalities

DDI: Serious Vaccines (Live) adverse/toxic effects are enhanced, CYP3A4 Inhibitors May reach toxic levels, CYP3A4 Inducers Reduced efficacy, Zidovudine/Clozapine Severe myelosuppression, Vaccines (Live & inactivated) Therapeutic effect is diminished by teniposide

Monitor: BP; CBC, RFT, LFT
