Indications & Dose: IN OVER ACTIVE BLADDER WITH SYMPTOMS OF URINARY FREQUENCY, URGENCY, & INCONTINENCE PO Adult IR: 20mg BID; ER: 60mg OD Elderly >75 yrs: IR: 20mg OD at HS (based on tolerability); ER: 60mg OD |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, urinary retention, gastric retention, uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma
Precautions: Alzheimer’s disease., GI obstructive disorders, controlled narrow-angle glaucoma., moderate or severe hepatic impairment, myasthenia gravis, renal impairment, ulcerative colitis, elderly (=65 yrs) ADR: Serious: tachycardia, dry eye syndrome, blurred vision, nasopharyngitis, Others: dry nose, xerostomia, headache, fatigue, skin rash, xeroderma, constipation, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, flatulence, abdominal distention, nausea/vomiting, urinary retention, UTI, influenza Diet: 1 hr prior to meals/empty stomach |
