Indications & Dose: OCULAR HYPERTENSION TP Adult Initially instill 1 drop (0.25% solution) into affected eye(s) BID, if no response increase to 0.5% solution max 1 drop BID. Gel-forming solution: Instill 1 drop (0.25% or 0.5% solution) OD | OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA TP Adult Initially instill 1 drop (0.25% solution) into affected eye(s) BID, if no response increase to 0.5% solution max 1 drop BID. Gel-forming solution: Instill 1 drop (0.25% or 0.5% solution) OD |
Contra: hypersensitivity, sinus bradycardia, sinus node dysfunction, heart block, cardiogenic shock, uncompensated HF, bronchospasm/asthma, COPD, metabolic acidosis, hypotension, Prinzmetal’s angina
Precautions: DM, HF, myasthenia gravis, PVD, pheochromocytoma, psoriasis, psychiatric disease, renal impairment, first-degree heart block, during drug withdrawal ADR: Serious: bronchospasm, shortness of breath & dyspnea, worsen cardiac disorders, pneumonitis, Raynaud’s syndrome, HF, heart block, blurred vision, hematological reactions, SLE, Others: coldness of extremities, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, headache, depression, dizziness, fatigue, myopathy DDI: Serious Quinidine can cause bradycardia (eye drops), Aspirin increases BP, Flecainide results in bradycardia Diet: With food Monitor: BP, apical & radial pulses, fluid I & O, weight, respirations, mental status |
