Indications & Dose: DEPRESSION PO Adult Initially 25mg TID, gradually increase to 50mg TID if needed, in severe depression up to 225mg Elderly 50-75mg/day |
| Contra: Recent MI, arrhythmias, manic phase, severe liver disease, porphyria
Precautions: CVD, history of epilepsy, elderly, hepatic impairment, thyroid disease, pheochromocytoma, history of mania, susceptibility to angle-closure glaucoma, history of urinary retention, concurrent electroconvulsive therapy, avoid abrupt withdrawal, anesthesia, nocturnal enuresis warnings, acute porphyria ADR: Serious: ECG changes, arrhythmias, postural hypotension, hypersensitivity reactions, blood sugar changes, mania, thrombocytopenia, blood disorders, hyponatremia, convulsions, respiratory depression, acidosis, movement disorders, blurred vision, Others: constipation, headache, dizziness, confusion, fatigue, nausea, fever, restlessness, increased appetite, weight gain, sedation |
