Indications & Dose: PAIN DUE TO PRIMARY DYSMENORRHEA Mild-to-moderate PO Adult Initially 500mg, then 250mg q6h for more than 2-3 days Child >14 yr: Same as adult dose |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, perioperative pain in setting of CABG surgery
Precautions: Asthma, patients with fluid retention/HF, history of GI bleeding/PUD, CVD, renal impairment ADR: Serious: Blood disorders, ARF, interstitial nephritis, hepatitis, blurred vision, tinnitus, hematuria, hepatitis, hepatotoxicity, anaphylaxis, Others: fluid retention, dyspnea, dizziness, nervousness, confusion, depression, malaise, Dysuria, oliguria/polyuria DDI: Serious Coumarins anticoagulation effects increased, Magnesium Hydroxide increases drug absorption, Lithium toxicity raises Diet: With food Monitor: Occult blood loss, CBC, renal function test, LFT |
