Indications & Dose: IMMUNIZATION AGAINST HEPATITIS A IM Adult Single dose of 0.5 or 1ml depends on product & age of patient, followed by booster dose 6–12 months after primary immunization Child >1yr: Same as adult dose |
Contra: hypersensitivity, severely immunosuppressed children
Precautions: acute illness, neurological conditions, alcohol/disinfectant ADR: Serious: lymphangitis, encephalitis, influenza-like symptoms, arthralgia, lymphadenopathy, hypersensitivity reactions, bronchospasm, angioedema, anaphylaxis, myalgia, thrombocytopenia, Others: redness, sterile abscess, GI disturbances, fever, headache, irritability, loss of appetite, fatigue, dizziness, paresthesia, asthenia, drowsiness, rash, urticaria, malaise, pain, inflammation DDI: Serious Immunosuppressants reduces antibody response to vaccines |
