Indications & Dose: HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA PO Adult Ezetimibe 10mg and simvastatin 20mg OD, may increase to Ezetimibe 10mg and simvastatin 80mg OD |
| Contra: Hypersensitivity, patients with liver enzyme abnormalities
Precautions: Patients with history of low BP, DM, thyroid deficiency, seizures, renal/hepatic disease, alcohol abuse, any allergy, hormonal/electrolyte problems, patients who are taking other medications ADR: Others: Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, indigestion, flatulence, stomach inflammation, influenza, URTI, muscle pain, pain in extremities, inner ear damage, skin inflammation & rash, weakness, swelling, sleeplessness, urinary tract infections Diet: With/without food Monitor: Blood cholesterol levels, LFTs & creatine phosphokinase (CPK) blood level regularly |
