Indications & Dose: DIAGNOSTIC AGENT IN CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE IV Adult 0.14mg/kg/min for 4 min, max 60mg | THROMBOEMBOLISM Adjuvant therapy/Prophylactic therapy PO Adult 75-100mg QID along with warfarin cardiac valve replacement Child >12 yr: Same as adult dose |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, arrhythmias, conduction disorders, asthma, history of bronchospasm
Precautions: Hepatic impairment, hypotension, unstable angina, aortic stenosis, recent MI, coagulation disorders, HF, other antiplatelets/anticoagulants ADR: Serious: Cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain, hypersensitivity reactions, hypotension, Others: GI disturbances, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, faintness, facial flushing, skin rash DDI: Serious Digoxin absorption increased, Coumarins increases risk of serious bleeding, β-blockers leads to bradycardia & asystole, Adenosine levels increases, Lansoprazole/Antacids reduces drug bioavailability, Theophylline/Aminophylline reduces drug effects Diet: 1h before food Monitor: BP, HR, ECG |
