Indications & Dose: DIAGNOSTIC AID FOR RADIOLOGIC EXAMINATION IV Adult 0.25-2mg | IM Adult 1-2mg 10min before radiologic procedure | HYPOGLYCEMIA Severe Emergency therapy IV/IM/SC Adult >20 kg: 1mg Child <20 kg: 20-30µg/kg or 0.5mg |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, pheochromocytoma, insulinoma
Precautions: Elderly patients with heart diseases, as a diagnostic aid in diabetic patients ADR: Serious: Hypersensitivity reactions, hypotension, tachycardia, hypokalemia, Others: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting DDI: Serious Warfarin anticoagulant effects markedly increased, β-blockers reduces drug effects Monitor: HR, BP, blood glucose, ECG, mentation |
