Indications & Dose: ADVANCED OVARIAN CANCER Combination therapy IV Adult 1g/m2 over 30min on days 1 & 8 of each 21 day cycle with carboplatin | METASTATIC BREAST CANCER Combination therapy IV Adult 1.25g/m2 over 30min on days 1 and 8 of 21 day cycle with paclitaxel | NON-SMALL-CELL LUNG CANCER Combination therapy IV Adult 1g/m2 as inf over 30min on days 1, 8 & 15 of 28 day cycle or 1.25g/m2 on days 1 & 8 of 21 day cycle with cisplatin | PANCREATIC CANCER LOCALLY ADVANCED IV Adult 1g/m2 as inf over 30min q1wk for 7 wk, followed by 1 wk of rest. May continue with cycles of once-weekly administration for 3 wk, followed by 1 wk of rest

Precautions: Concurrent radiation therapy, hepatic impairment/hepatic metastases, pre-existing renal impairment, elderly, during drive/operate machinery

ADR: Serious: Peripheral edema, blood disorders, myelosuppression, hematuria, BUN increased, cerebrovascular accident, CHF, hemolytic uremic syndrome, renal failure, pulmonary edema, supraventricular arrhythmia, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, veno-occlusive liver disease, hepatotoxicity, electrolyte disturbances, Others: fever, somnolence, rash, alopecia, pruritus, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomatitis, paresthesia, flu-like syndrome, infect, alopecia, rhinitis, sepsis, cellulitis

DDI: Serious Warfarin effects increases, Semaxanib leads to high incidence of thromboembolic events

Monitor: CBC, platelet count, hepatic & renal function, electrolytes including potassium, Mg & Ca
