- This plant has a number of uses in Ayurveda.
- It has antioxidant properties, reducing oxidation of fats in the bloodstream.
- It is a traditional treatment for epilepsy and asthma.
- DIMINISHES KAFA AND VATA DOSHAS
- Reduces oedema pain and toxicity.
- Anticonvulsive action helpful in psychological disorders, EPILEPSY etc.
- Its warm paste is applied in case of children suffering from respiratory diseases.
- Improves digestion, relieves aamdosha and constipation
- Helpful in bleeding disorders and weakness of the heart.
- Relieves DYSUREA.
