Precautions: Major depression & other psychiatric disorders, elderly patients with dementia, parkinson’s disease, seizures, head trauma, brain damage, alcoholism, CVD, hypotension

ADR: Serious: EPS, orthostatic hypotension, tachycardia, chest pain, peripheral edema, HTN, suicidal ideation, tremor, blurred vision, Others: nasopharyngitis, dyspnea, myalgia, irritability, coordination impaired, rash, dysmenorrhea, appetite decreased, lethargy, dystonia, headache, agitation, insomnia, anxiety, akathisia, sedation, weight gain, vomiting, nausea, constipation, dyspepsia

DDI: Serious Haloperidol causes psychotic symptoms, Efavirenz/Carbamazepine/Nevirapine/Phenobarbital/Phenytoin/Primidone/Rifabutin/Rifampicin decreases drug level, Diltiazem/Azoles/Fluoxetine/Paroxetine/Quinidine increases drug level, Venlafaxine leads to NMS & EPS, Valproic acid reduces drug level
