Contra: Hypersensitivity, hyperbilirubinemic neonates
Precautions: Penicillin-sensitive patients, history of allergy, renal/hepatic impairment, history of GI disease, discontinue drug if signs & symptoms suggestive of gallbladder disease seen ADR: Serious: Blood disorders, elevations of SGOT/AST/SGPT/ALT, elevations of BUN, allergic pneumonitis, anaphylaxis, bronchospasm, hematuria, jaundice, nephrolithiasis, seizures, decrease in the prothrombin time, palpitations, moniliasis/vaginitis, Others: diaphoresis, abdominal pain, Phlebitis, local reactions, rash, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting |
