Indications & Dose: DISINFECTION OF CLEAN INSTRUMENTS Adult Immerse for 30 min in 0.05% solution containing sodium nitrite 0.1% (to inhibit metal corrosion) | DISINFECTION OF WOUNDS/BURNS/OTHER SKIN DAMAGE TP Adult Apply 0.05% aqueous solution directly to the affected area | EMERGENCY DISINFECTION OF CLEAN INSTRUMENTS Adult Immerse for 2 min in 0.5% solution in 70% alcohol | GINGIVITIS Prophylactic therapy TP Adult Solution (0.2%): Rinse with 10ml for 1min 2-3 times/day | HAND-WASHING TP Adult As 0.5% solution of acetate/gluconate in alcohol (70%) or as 2 or 4% detergent solution of gluconate | ORAL CANDIDIASIS TP Adult 0.1-0.2% mouthwash | PREVENTION OF PLAQUE TP Adult 0.1-0.2% chlorhexidine has been used as mouthwash | SKIN DISINFECTION TP Adult As 0.5% solution of acetate/gluconate in alcohol (70%) or as 2 or 4% detergent solution of gluconate |

ADR: Serious: hypersensitivity, irritation of conjunctiva & mucous membranes, Others: reversible discoloration of tongue & teeth, transient taste disturbances, burning sensation of tongue, desquamation & occasional parotid gland swelling |
