Indications & Dose: EROSIVE ESOPHAGITIS PO Adult Initially 20-40mg OD 4-8 wk, may be continued for next 4-8 wk if incomplete healing, MD 20mg OD Child <20 kg: 10mg OD 8 wk, >20 kg: 10-20mg OD 8 wk | GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE PO Adult 20mg OD for 4 wk, may be continued for another 4 wk if symptoms persist Child 1-11 yr: 10mg OD up to 8 wk, 12-17 yr: 20-40mg OD up to 8 wk | Short-term therapy IV Adult 20mg or 40mg/day 10 days | H.PYLORI ERADICATION Combination therapy PO Adult 40mg OD with amoxicillin 1g & clarithromycin 500mg BID for 10 days | NON-EROSIVE REFLUX DISEASE PO Adult Initially 20mg OD for 2-4 wk, may be continued for next 4 wk if needed, MD 20mg OD Child 1-11 yr: 10mg OD up to 8 wk, 11-12 yr: 20mg OD 2-4 wk | NSAID-INDUCED GASTRIC ULCERS PO Adult 20mg OD 4-8 wk | Prophylactic therapy PO Adult 20-40mg OD 6 months | ZOLLINGER-ELLISON SYNDROME PO Adult 40mg BID |
