Indications & Dose: PREVENTION OF IRON & FOLATE DEFICIENCIES IN PREGNANCY PO Adult 100mg elemental iron with 350–400µg folic acid/day throughout pregnancy | SEVERE ANEMIA PO Adult 120mg elemental iron with 400µg folic acid/day for 3 months Child >2 yr: 25mg elemental iron with 100–400µg folic acid/day for 3 months, 2–12 yr: 60mg elemental iron with 400µg folic acid/day for 3 months |
