Indications & Dose: AIDS-RELATED KAPOSI’S SARCOMA IM/SC Adult 30million units/m2 thrice weekly | CARCINOID TUMOURS SC Adult 3-9million units thrice weekly, may be given 5million units/day in advanced stage | FOLLICULAR LYMPHOMA SC Adult 5million units thrice weekly up to 18 months along with chemotherapy | HAIRY-CELL LEUKAEMIA IM/SC Adult 2million units/m2 thrice weekly up to 6months | HEPATITIS B Active disease/Chronic IM/SC Adult 5-10million units thrice weekly 4-6 months or 5million units/day 16 wk | HEPATITIS C Chronic IM/SC Adult 3million units thrice weekly 6-12 months with ribavirin or 6-18 months, max 24 months for monotherapy | MELANOMA IV Adult Initially 20million units/m2/day on 5 days each wk up to 4wk by infusion over 20 min, MD 10million units/m2 thrice weekly 48 wk by SC inj | MULTIPLE MYELOMA SC Adult After maintenance treatment, chemotherapy induction of 3million units/m2 thrice weekly |
