Indications & Dose: ASTHMA Chronic Inh Adult Aerosol: 20–40µg TID/QID Child Aerosol: <6 yr: 20µg TID, 6–12 yr: 20–40µg TID | CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE Inh Adult Nebulization: 500µg (one unit dose vial) TID/QID with doses 6-8h apart Child >12 yr: Same as adult dose | Inh Adult Aerosol: 20–40µg TID/QID Child Aerosol: <6 yr: 20µg TID, 6–12 yr: 20–40µg TID | RHINORRHEA ASSOCIATED WITH ALLERGIC/NONALLERGIC RHINITIS Symptomatic therapy NSL Adult 0.03%: 2 sprays in each nostril BID/TID Child > 6 yr: Same as adult dose | RHINORRHOEA ASSOCIATED WITH COMMON COLD Symptomatic therapy NSL Adult 0.06%: 2 sprays in each nostril TID/QID 4 days Child 5-11 yr: 0.06%: 2 sprays in each nostril TID 4 days, >12 yr: Same as adult dose | RHINORRHOEA ASSOCIATED WITH SEASONAL ALLERGIC RHINITIS Symptomatic therapy NSL Adult 0.06%: 2 sprays in each nostril QID upto 3wk Child >5 yr: Same as adult dose |

Precautions: Prostatic hyperplasia/bladder neck obstruction, myasthenia gravis, narrow-angle glaucoma ADR: Serious: Chest pain, bronchospasm, Others: flu-like syndrome, URTI, bronchitis, sinusitis, palpitation, headache, dizziness, dyspepsia, nausea, xerostomia, back pain, dyspnea, rhinitis, cough, pharyngitis, sputum increased DDI: Serious Salbutamol leads to acute angle-closure glaucoma |
