NON-SEDATIVE ANTIHISTAMINE | ANTI-ALLERGIC

Indications & Dose: ALLERGIC RHINITIS Symptomatic therapy PO Adult 5mg/day HS Child 6-11 yr: 2.5mg/day, >12 yr: 5mg/day | IDIOPATHIC URTICARIA Chronic PO Adult 5mg/day HS Child 6-11 yr: 2.5mg/day, >12 yr: 5mg/day
Contra: Acute porphyria, Renal impairment

Precautions: Renal impairment, hepatic disease, epilepsy, avoid excess alcohol

ADR: Serious: hypotension, arrhythmias, palpitation, convulsions, hypersensitivity reactions, angle-closure glaucoma, blood disorders, blurred vision, liver dysfunction, Others: GI disturbances, dizziness, confusion, depression, sleep disturbances, drowsiness, headache, psychomotor impairment, urinary retention, dry mouth

DDI: Serious Alcohol increases risk of drowsiness
