LOTEPREDNOL ETABONATE |
GLUCOCORTICOID | ANTI-INFLAMMATORY & ANTI-ALLERGIC |
Indications & Dose: INFLAMMATORY CONDITIONS TP Adult Suspension (0.5%): Apply 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye QID. During the initial treatment within the first wk, dosing may be increased up to 1 drop q1h | POSTOPERATIVE INFLAMMATION TP Adult Apply 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the operated eye(s) QID beginning 24h after surgery & continuing throughout the first 2 wk of postoperative period | SEASONAL ALLERGIC CONJUNCTIVITIS Symptomatic therapy TP Adult Suspension (0.2%): Instill 1 drop into affected eyes QID |
Precautions: Red eye
ADR: Serious: Steroid glaucoma, Steroid cataract, Others: thinning of cornea & sclera |
