Precautions: adrenal suppression, DM, thromboembolism ADR: Serious: HTN, cardiomyopathy, chest pain, edema, HF, Cushing’s syndrome, hypercalcemia, seizure, amblyopia, albuminuria, blood disorders, hepatotoxicity, thromboembolic phenomena, vaginal bleeding/discharge, Others: weakness, dyspnea, diaphoresis, malaise, rash, alopecia, hyperglycemia, gynecomastia, amenorrhea, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, xerostomia, impotence, UTI, headache, insomnia, fever, confusion, depression DDI: Serious Etoposide/Cisplatin effects are abolished by drug, Warfarin half-life prolongs by drug, Aminoglutethimide markedly reduces drug plasma level Monitor: Signs of thromboembolic events, BP, serum glucose |
