Indications & Dose: DEPRESSION PO Adult Initially 30-40mg/day, may be increased according to response MD 30-90mg/day as single dose HS max 200mg Elderly Initially 30mg/day increased if needed |

Precautions: CVD, DM, renal/hepatic impairment, epilepsy, prostatic hyperplasia, angle-closure glaucoma ADR: Serious: bone-marrow depression, gynecomastia, liver dysfunction, polyarthropathy, blood disorders, Others: drowsiness, erythema multiforme DDI: Serious Ephedrine action reduces, Alcohol causes drowsiness & impair ability to drive/handle dangerous machinery, Acenocoumarol efficacy decreases, Warfarin efficacy increases, Phenytoin/Carbamazepine reduces drug level |
