Indications & Dose: NASAL CONGESTION PO Adult 60mg q4-6h, max 240mg/day Child 2-5 yr: 15mg q4-6h, max 60mg/day, 6-11 yr: 30mg q4-6h, max 120mg/day, >12yr: 60mg q4-6h, max 240mg/day |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, HTN, alcohol intolerance, CAD, MAOIs
Precautions: CVD, DM, prostatic hyperplasia, seizure, thyroid dysfunction, renal impairment, elderly, glaucoma, MI ADR: Serious: Tachycardia, hallucinations, seizures, cardiovascular collapse, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, Others: anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, skin rashes, anorexia, dry mouth DDI: Serious TCAs activity may enhances/diminishes, MAOIs causes fatal hypertensive crisis, Tramadol causes ischaemic colitis, Caffeine increases BP, β-blockers increases pressor effect Diet: With/Without food Monitor: vital signs,neurologic & cardiovascularstatus regularly |
