Indications & Dose: PARKINSON’S DISEASE PO Adult Initially 0.25mg TID, based on response increase the dose at weekly intervals. Wk 1: 0.25mg TID, wk 2: 0.5mg TID, wk 3: 0.75mg TID, wk 4: 1mg TID. Subsequently increase daily dose by 1.5mg/day up to 9mg/day at weekly intervals if needed & then increase up to 3mg/day weekly to total of 24mg/day | RESTLESS LEGS SYNDROME PO Adult Initially 0.25mg/day for 2 days, if tolerated increase to 0.5mg/day for 5 days. Subsequent dose is increased in weekly steps of 0.5mg/day until 3mg/day is reached. If required, dose may be increased after 1 more wk to max 4mg/day

Precautions: Severe hepatic impairment, bradycardia, elderly, CVD

ADR: Serious: orthostatic hypotension, leg edema, HTN, chest pain, flushing, palpitation, syncope, UTI, Others: diaphoresis, hallucinations, vomiting, nausea, dizziness, headache, hallucinations, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, xerostomia

DDI: Serious Ciprofloxacin increases drug bioavailability, Tobacco increases drug clearance, Estrogen reduces drug clearance

Diet: With/without food
