Indications & Dose: BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA PO Adult 8mg/day |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, severe renal impairment, severe hepatic impairment, Concomitant strong CYP3A4 inhibitors/P-glycoprotein inhibitors
Precautions: mild-to-moderate hepatic impairment, elderly (risk of hypotension), women/children, concomitant use of antihypertensives ADR: Serious: Retrograde ejaculation, Others: Diarrhea, headache, insomnia, dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, nasopharyngitis, nasal congestion, sinusitis DDI: Others Carbamazepine/Aspirin/Clotrimazole decrease silodosin effects, Cyclosporine/Carbidopa+Levodopa/Indinavir increase silodosin effects, Alfuzosin increases antihypertensive activity, Mefloquine increases silodosin effects leads to life threatening interaction Diet: with food |
