Indications & Dose: ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA PO Adult 100-200mg/m2/day, increased the dose of 2mg/kg/day after 4 wk Child 100-200mg/m2/day |
| Contra: Hypersensitivity
Precautions: Renal/hepatic impairment, patients on vaccination ADR: Serious: hepatotoxicity, myelosuppression, secondary malignancies, tumor lysis syndrome, fluid retention, hyperuricemia, intestinal necrosis, intestinal perforation, splenomegaly, hematologic disorders, infect, Others: stomatitis, vomiting, nausea, anorexia DDI: Serious Busulfan leads to nodular regenerative hyperplasia of liver, portal HTN & esophageal varices, Phenytoin/Carbamazepine/Valproic acid levels are reduced Monitor: CBC, LFTs, serum uric acid, test for TPMT deficiency |
