Indications & Dose: HYPERTENSION PO Adult 1-4mg/day | LEFT VENTRICULAR DYSFUNCTION PO Adult Initially 1mg/day, if tolerated increase dose to 4mg/day | POST MI HEART FAILURE PO Adult Initially 1mg/day, if tolerated increase dose to 4mg/day |
Contra: hypersensitivity, history of angioedema
Precautions: CVD, jaundice, renal/hepatic impairment, DM ADR: Serious: hypotension, agranulocytosis, hepatic necrosis, jaundice, increased liver enzymes, angioedema, syncope, renal failure, MI, cardiogenic shock, URTI, myalgia, Others: hypocalcemia, dyspepsia, edema, back pain, cough, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, hyperkalemia, abdominal pain DDI: Serious Diclofenac increases BP, Antacids reduces drug level Diet: With/without food Monitor: Vital signs, CBC, signs & symptoms of bleeding & infect, electrolyte levels, RFT |
