Indications & Dose: IMMUNISATION AGAINST TUBERCULOSIS Intradermal Child Neonate: 0.05mL; 1 month-1 yr: 0.05mL; 1–18 yr: 0.1mL |
Contra: hypersensitivity, severely immunosuppressed children
Precautions: acute illness, neurological conditions, alcohol/disinfectant, should give 3wks before /3months after use of immunoglobulin ADR: Serious: lymphangitis, myalgia, influenza-like symptoms, arthralgia, lymphadenopathy, hypersensitivity reactions, bronchospasm, angioedema, anaphylaxis, Others: pain, inflammation, redness, sterile abscess, GI disturbances, paresthesia, asthenia, drowsiness, rash, urticaria, malaise DDI: Serious Theophylline half-life is increased, Corticosteroids leads to generalised life-threatening infections, Anti-neoplastics reduces vaccines efficacy |
