Indications & Dose: HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA PO Adult 0.2mg/kg/day for 3-6 wks | NEPHROTIC SYNDROME Combination therapy PO Adult 0.1-0.2mg/kg/day for 8-12 wk with low dose prednisone | NON-HODGKIN LYMPHOMA/ CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA PO Adult 0.1mg/kg/day for 3-6 wks Child Initiate with lower doses |
| Contra: Hypersensitivity, hypersensitivity to other alkylating agents
Precautions: History of seizure disorder/head trauma, avoid/with low dose for at least 4 wks after radiotherapy or other antineoplastics, renal/hepatic impairment, acute infect ADR: Serious: Hepatotoxicity, SJS, TEN, peripheral neuropathy, central neurotoxicity, interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, seizures, infertility, SIADH, blood disorders, bone marrow depression, azoospermia, cystitis, Others: Angioneurotic edema, erythema multiforme, amenorrhea, hallucinations, agitation, ataxia, drug fever, muscular twitching, allergic reactions, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, oral ulceration, urticaria DDI: Serious Vaccines (Live) immune response is impaired & leads to generalized infect, Ciclosporin levels reduced Monitor: LFTs, CBC, serum uric acid |
