Indications & Dose: GI SPASM ASSOCIATED WITH IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME PO Adult Initially 10-20mg TID, max 160mg/day Child 6months-2yr: 5-10mg TID/QID 15 min before food; 2-12 yr: 10mg TID | IM Adult 80mg/day in 4 divided doses |
Contra: Infants <6 months of age, hypersensitivity, GI/GU tract obstruction, severe UC, reflux esophagitis, unstable cardiovascular status, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis
Precautions: renal/hepatic impairment, autonomic neuropathy, CVD, prostatic hypertrophy, elderly ADR: Serious: blurred vision, increased IOP, palpitations, paralytic ileus, urinary hesitancy/retention, anaphylaxis, Others: rash, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, heartburn, dry mouth, confusion, drowsiness, lightheadedness, psychosis |
