Indications & Dose: ARRHYTHMIAS Emergency therapy IV Adult 0.02-0.06mg (1-3mL of 1:50, 000 dilution), followed by 0.01-0.2mg (0.5-10mL of 1:50, 000 dilution) Child 50% of adult dose | BRADYCARDIA IV Adult Inf: 1-4µg/min | BRONCHOSPASM IV Adult 0.01-0.02mg, may be repeat if needed | STOKES-ADAMS ATTACKS IV Adult Inf: 4-8µg/min in acute condition; Inj: 20-60µg as 1-3 mL of 0.002% solution, dose is adjusted according to ventricular rate | IM/SC Adult 200µg as 1 mL of 0.02% solution |

Precautions: DM, elderly, CVD, renal diseases, hyperthyroidism ADR: Serious: Tachycardia, arrhythmias, palpitations, hypotension, tremor, swelling of parotid glands, Others: headache, sweating, facial flushing, damage to teeth DDI: Serious β-blockers antagonizes drug action, Cyclopropane causes arrhythmias, Adrenaline increases cardiotoxicity, Theophylline/Aminophylline leads to hypokalemia & tachycardia Diet: Monitor: ECG, HR, arterial BP, respiratory rate |
