Indications & Dose: ALLERGIC CONJUNCTIVITIS TP Adult Instill 1 drop (0.025%) into the affected eye BID q8-12h Child >3 yr: Same as adult dose | ASTHMA Prophylactic therapy PO Child 6 months-3 yr: 500µg BID, >3 yr: 1mg BID | RHINITIS PO Adult 1mg BID, increased to 2mg BID if required. If drowsiness occurs, then administer 0.5-1mg HS for the first few days |

Precautions: Asthma, avoid abrupt withdrawal ADR: Serious: CNS depression, myalgia, hypotension, Others: Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, epigastric pain, sleep disturbances, depression, confusion, hair loss, headache, psychomotor impairment, urinary difficulty/retention, constipation DDI: Serious Antidiabetics leads to fall in platelet count |
