Indications & Dose: NEUROPATHIC PAIN PO Adult 50mg BID, increase subsequent wk to 200-300mg BID | PARTIAL SEIZURES PO/IV Adult 50mg TID, increase 100mg/day in 2 divided doses at weekly intervals, MD 200-400mg/day |
| Contra: Hypersensitivity, second/third degree AV block, severe hepatic impairment
Precautions: Conduction problems, severe CVD, elderly, hepatic/renal impairment, during withdrawal ADR: Serious: atrial fibrillation & atrial flutter, syncope, hypersensitivity, Suicidal behavior, diplopia, nystagmus, tremor, PR-interval prolongation, Others: fatigue, pruritus, impaired coordination, ataxia, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, constipation, dizziness, headache, depression DDI: Serious Anti-Arrhythmics enhances PR prolongation, Rifampicin reduces drug level Diet: With/without food Monitor: ECG, suicidality |
