Indications & Dose: IMMUNIZATION OF UNIMMUNIZED PREGNANT WOMEN AGAINST TETANUS IM Adult 2 doses each of 0.5ml, with an interval of at least 4 wk between each dose (second dose at least 2 weeks before delivery), followed by a third dose of 0.5mL 6 months later and 2 booster doses each of 0.5ml, the first at least 1 yr after completion of primary course & second dose at least 1 yr later | PRIMARY IMMUNIZATION OF UNIMMUNIZED INDIVIDUALS IM Adult 3 doses each of 0.5ml with an interval of not less than 4 wk between the first & second doses and 6 months between the second & third doses, followed by 2 reinforcing doses each of 0.5ml, the first at least 1 yr after completion of the primary course and the second dose at least 1 yr later Child Adolescent: Same as adult dose | REINFORCING IMMUNIZATION AGAINST TETANUS IM Adult 2 doses each of 0.5ml, the first 10 yr after completion of the primary course and the second dose 10 yr later | TETANUS-PRONE WOUNDS & CLEAN WOUNDS IM Adult 0.5ml as single dose

ADR: Serious: lymphangitis, myalgia, influenza-like symptoms, arthralgia, lymphadenopathy, hypersensitivity reactions, bronchospasm, angioedema, anaphylaxis, Others: inflammation, pain, redness, an induration/sterile abscess, GI disturbances, fever, headache, irritability, loss of appetite, fatigue, dizziness, paraesthesia, asthenia, drowsiness, rash, urticaria, malaise
