Indications & Dose: HYPERTENSION PO Adult Each tablet contains Amlodipine 5mg & Atenolol 25mg or 50mg, one tablet/day, may increase to 2 tablet/day if needed | STABLE ANGINA Chronic PO Adult Each tablet contains Amlodipine 5mg & Atenolol 25mg or 50mg, one tablet/day, may increase to 2 tab/day if needed |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, sinus bradycardia, second & higher degrees of heart block, cardiogenic shock, hypotension, overt cardiac failure, untreated pheochromocytoma
Precautions: Patients with airway obstruction, avoid abrupt discontinuation of therapy, DM, severe aortic stenosis, severe hepatic impairment, children, elder, HF ADR: Serious: palpitations, flushing, edema, Hypotension, bradycardia, Others: Headache, depression, dizziness, dyspepsia, dyspnea, muscle cramps, fatigue, cold extremities DDI: Serious Isoprenaline/Dobutamine antagonizes drug effect, Reserpine causes hypotension & marked bradycardia, Indomethacin may decreases the hypotensive effect of drug, Clonidine may exacerbate rebound HTN |
