Indications & Dose: HYPERTENSION Combination therapy PO Adult Amlodipine (2.5-10mg/day, max 10mg/day) and benazepril (10-40mg/day, max 80mg/day)Not adequately controlled with monotherapy |
Contra: Renal impairment (Clcr < 30 mL/min), angioedema
Precautions: Kidney transplant patients, vascular disease, bone marrow suppression, DM, patients with history of heart problems, blood vessel problems blood flow problems, do not drive a car/operate machinery, who are receiving kidney dialysis, elderly, children, avoid alcohol consumption ADR: Others: Cough, headache, dizziness, fluid retention, weakness, fatigue, sleeplessness, nervousness, anxiety, tremor, decreased libido, flushing, hot flashes, rash, skin nodule, skin inflammation, dry mouth, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, esophagitis, decrease in WBC, decrease in blood potassium, back pain, muscle cramps, throat inflammation, impotence, increased urination Diet: With/without food Monitor: Blood potassium levels, BP & renal function |
