Indications & Dose: HYPERTENSION PO Adult Single tablet contains atenolol 50/100mg and chlorthalidone 25mg. Take one tablet daily |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, heart block greater than first degree, cardiogenic shock, overt cardiac failure, anuria, sinus bradycardia, untreated pheochromocytoma, bronchospastic disease
Precautions: DM, renal/hepatic impairment, abrupt withdrawal of drug, use of anesthetics, peripheral arterial circulatory disorders ADR: Serious: postural hypotension, Bradycardia, agranulocytosis, Others: Cold extremities, leg Pain, dizziness, vertigo, light-headedness, fatigue, lethargy, drowsiness, depression, diarrhea, nausea, wheeziness, dyspnea DDI: Serious Indomethacin decreases hypotensive effect of drug, Clonidine exacerbate rebound HTN, Reserpine may cause hypotension & marked bradycardia, Lithium toxicity may occur Monitor: Serum electrolyte |
