Indications & Dose: INTERMITTENT CLAUDICATION Symptomatic therapy PO Adult 100mg BID |
Contra: Hypersensitivity, HF, hemostatic disorders/active bleeding, history of ventricular arrhythmias, QT interval prolongation agents
Precautions: Severe underlying heart disease, moderate-to-severe hepatic impairment, patients with thrombocytopenia, other platelet aggregation inhibitors, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, moderate/strong CYP3A4 inducers & major CYP3A4 substrates, severe renal impairment ADR: Serious: Cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain, cardiovascular toxicity, palpitations, edema, Others: Headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, rhinitis DDI: Serious Diltiazem/Clopidogrel/Erythromycin/Ketoconazole increases drug levels, Anagrelide increases inotropic effects, Lovastatin/Cisapride/Simvastatin levels increases by drug, Coumarins may increase risk of bleeding Diet: 30 min before/2h after food |
