ADR: Serious: Cardiac arrest, hypotension, thrombophlebitis, liver function test abnormalities, jaundice, blood disorders, polyarthritis, renal dysfunction, anaphylactoid reactions, Others: sterile abscess/pain, erythema multiforme, exfoliative dermatitis, pruritus, rash, urticaria, vaginitis, abdominal pain, diarrhea, esophagitis, nausea, vomiting

DDI: Serious Neuromuscular blockers efficacy increased & prolonged, Gentamicin leads to acute renal failure, Ciclosporin levels reduced

Diet: With food

Monitor: Colitis, resolution of symptoms, CBC, LFTs, renal function tests periodically during prolonged therapy
