Indications & Dose: MOTION SICKNESS PO Adult 12.5-25mg 1h before travel, repeat dose q12-24h if needed, doses up to 50mg may be needed Child 6-12 yr: 12.5mg OD, 2-6 yr: 6.25mg/day | VERTIGO PO Adult 25-100mg/day in divided doses |
Contra: Hypersensitivity
Precautions: Angle-closure glaucoma, urinary retention, prostatic hyperplasia, pyloroduodenal obstruction, stenosing PUD, bladder neck obstruction, arrhythmias, bronchial asthma, children <12 yrs ADR: Serious: Seizures, hypotension, palpitations, tachycardia, blurred vision, diplopia, tinnitus, Others: dry nose, dry throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, rash, urinary retention/frequency, drowsiness, fatigue, confusion, excitement, euphoria, nervousness, insomnia, vertigo, visual & auditory hallucinations Monitor: CNS change, sudden/unusual weight gain, unresolved nausea/diarrhea, chest pain/palpitations, muscle pain, changes in urinary pattern |
