Indications & Dose: ASTHMA Inh Adult Initially 600-800µg/day, dose may be adjusted according to response MD 400µg/day in 2-4 divided doses. For inhalation capsules/discs MD 400µg BID or 200µg TID/QID Child 50/100µg BID/QID or 100 /200µg BID, MD 200µg BID or 100µg BID/QID (for inhalation capsules/discs) | Severe Inh Adult 250µg QID or 500µg BID, may be increased to 500µg TID/QID if required max 2mg/day Child 50/100µg BID/QID based on response | NASAL POLYPS NSL Adult Aqueous suspension: 42/84µg BID in each nostril. May increase dose in severe conditions. Once adequate dose is achieved reduce dose to 84µg BID in each nostril. Continue for 3 wk Child >12 yr: Same as adult dose | PERENNIAL RHINITIS Symptomatic therapy NSL Adult Aqueous suspension: 42/84µg BID in each nostril. May increase dose in severe conditions. Once adequate dose is achieved reduce dose to 84µg BID in each nostril continued for 3 wk Child >12 yr: Same as adult dose | SEASONAL RHINITIS Symptomatic therapy NSL Adult Aqueous suspension: 42/84µg BID in each nostril. Precautions: HF, recent MI, HTN, DM, epilepsy, glaucoma, hypothyroidism, hepatic failure, osteoporosis, PUD, psychoses/severe affective disorders, renal impairment, children, elderly, quiescent TB, avoid exposure to chicken pox

ADR: Serious: ocular changes, mental & neurological disturbances, benign intracranial HTN, acute pancreatitis, avascular necrosis of bone, adrenal atrophy, cushingoid symptoms, flushing, hypersensitivity reactions, corneal ulcers, raised IOP, reduced visual function, Increased susceptibility to infect, increased severity of varicella & measles, Others: Menstrual irregularities, hyperhidrosis, skin thinning, dryness, irritation, hoarseness & candidiasis of the mouth/throat, agitation, depression, dizziness, acneiform lesions, increased bruising, ecchymoses

Monitor: Fluid intake & output, daily weight
