Indications & Dose: ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT IV Adult Inj: Loading dose 50µg/kg over 10min, then 0.375-0.75µg/kg/min as inf for 2-3 days, may adjust dose to support BP, cardiac index & systemic perfusionwith catecholamines | CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE Short-term therapy IV Adult Inj: Initially 50µg/kg over 10 min MD 0.375-0.75µg/kg/min by continuous inf, max 1.13mg/kg/day, may adjust inf according to cardiac output & pulmonary capillary wedge pressure |
| Contra: Hypersensitivity, acute MI
Precautions: Atrial flutter/fibrillation, renal impairment, electrolyte abnormalities, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, severe obstructive aortic/pulmonary valvular disease ADR: Serious: Supraventricular & ventricular arrhythmias, hypotension, angina-like chest pain, thrombocytopenia, tremor, Others: hypokalemia, headache DDI: Serious Anagrelide increases inotropic effects Diet: Monitor: Platelet count, CBC, electrolytes, LFT, renal function test, ECG, CVP, SBP, DBP, HR |
