Precautions: CVD, hepatic/renal impairment, history of epilepsy, myasthenia gravis ADR: Serious: SJS, TEN, thrombocytopenia, hepatic dysfunction, hypotension, convulsions, rhabdomyolysis, renal failure, arthralgia, myalgia, Others: dyspnea, paresthesia, taste disturbances, constipation, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia, drowsiness, flatulence, abdominal pain, confusion, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, fever, tremor DDI: Serious Glibenclamide causes hypoglycemia, Levofloxacin/Amiodarone/Procainamide causes Torsade de pointes, Probenecid increases drug levels, Ferrous Sulphate reduces drug bioavailability Diet: With/without food Monitor: Renal function test, LFT & hematopoietic function, WBC & signs of infection |
